Breast reduction, also called reduction mammaplasty, is a procedure that removes excess breast tissue and skin, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. Breast Reduction is performed for both physical and cosmetic reasons, where it can improve the appearance of drooping breasts as well as relieve chronic head, neck, back, and shoulder pain associated with disproportionately large breasts. This Procedure can be performed at any age, but Dr. Hussein usually recommends waiting until breast development has stopped. Childbirth and breast-feeding may affect the size and shape of your breasts. If you plan to breast-feed in the future, you should discuss this with your doctor.
